Toothless!

Sorry for the bad quality of the picture. It was taken with my cell phone. Big news around here though. FIRST CHILD TO LOSE A TOOTH!!!! Natalie was the first one to grom up on me. How depressing. We had seen the 2 teeth coming in behind her 2 bottom front ones but for some reason they weren't pushing out the baby teeth. Then one day we checked and one was a little lose. Then she was eating chicken one night and it hurt her tooth to eat it so she decided to starve herself that night. Poor girl. Next night we were having spaghettie and she took a bite and blood went everywhere but the tooth was still holding on. Next morning she was crying while rying to eat her cereal saying she couldn't eat because it hurt too much again, so I did what every adult would do and called my Mommy. Mom explained about how to pull them and tod me to make sure I get it the first time because she would NOT let me try a second time. So I called Tim and told him he needed to handle this because I am the one who is always having dreams about loosing teeth and doing this would freak me out. Good husband that he is he came straight home and they went downstairs and did it where Regan couldn't see(or hear), since she has some loose teeth too, 5 minutes later they had a tooth in a napkin that has already been accepted and traded by the tooth fairy for a dollar(and put in her baby book). Now she likes to walk around telling strangers about her tooth that fell out. :) So sweet. Poor Regan is next and has no idea whats to come.

Night Shift Sucks

I hate when Tim is on night shift. I have to try and keep the kids quiet till he wakes up and I'm always paranoide that they are going to wake him up and he's going to come upstairs all mad and gripping. They used to be happy watching cartoon with their Mommy, but not so much anymore. It's gotten so hard this time around. (He switches from nights to days every 4 months.) Makes life so much harder.

They are also on Fall break this week, the week Tim works 5 days instead of 2. (12 hour shifts.) It's raining outside and they no longer are happy playing in their room, they wanna go places or play in the living room. This is going to be a fun fall break. NOT!

This is what we used to do. Isn't Natalie so cute playing on her little computer with Mommy. ;)

Heading to the River

We are headed to the river today. Tim is already telling me I have to get in the water. I just love being bossed, don't you. I'm taking a good book and have plans to lay out and get some sun on my white legs. I really want to see how the girls do in water over their head. Conner will love the sand. Well, gotta get ready. SEE YA!!!

Favorite part of summer. SANDALS!!!

Call of Duty

Ok, I know I haven't been posting very much but I do have a reason. I AM ADDICTED TO CALL OF DUTY!!!! I can't help it. All I want to do lately is sit here and play. Usually I give myself a mental list of thing I have to do first before I can play so that at least I get something done. I haven't even been taking a lot of pictures lately because I can't seem to stop playing. I get up in the morning and the first thing I do is grab the remote, (after handing out pop tarts of course) and usually the last thing I do is fight Tim for the controller at night. If any of you play my name is Lickinchiken25. Tim picked it out and I love it. Something to do with an Army saying that they changed around. Bla. Bla. Bla. Who cares.

I have lost my camera. (Don't tell Tim) I can't find it anywhere. I remember carrying it in the house yesterday but it's not hanging where I always put it. Honestly I probably left it at Moms. Anyway, the point of that is I have pictures from the Boys party Saturday and I was going to post about that today but I don't have my camera to get those pictures off of it so you're just going to have to wait till tomorrow. Sorry. Forgetting stuff comes with the Mom thing. I'm happy most days to just remember to brush my teeth and put on deodorant. So, I will do my best to find my camera and blog about the party. Cross your fingers......

Favorite picture today.

MEN!!!!

I love how time seems to mean something different for men. Tim sold me this morning that he was going fishing really early and that he would be back around noon, that he wouldn’t even get close to 1. Well, it is currently 1:14pm and my husband is nowhere to be found. And, he has turned off his phone so that I can’t call him and ask him where the “h” he is. If it was me that was even a few minutes late he would be freaking out, and calling every 10 minutes to see if I am almost done yet. The other thing is, if I gripe at him for taking so long he’ll yell and say he never told me a time and that I am wrong, bla, bla, bla. I have a horrible memory so sometimes I don’t remember if he told me a time or not. Like, I get all the times he has went fishing all run together in my mind. But I do remember he told me yesterday that he would be back before* one, not even close to one. Hmmmm.

FAvorite shot is of a guy at the river that just kinda paddled around all day, laying out and fishing. I thought Josh "S." would love this, and the guy reminded me of him too.

Uninspired

I am sitting here today looking at all my pictures, trying to get inspired for todays post. Nothing is coming so I think I am just going to put some pictures on today. Enjoy!

You can't tell but he is sticking his tongue out at you guys.

Can you say "Silly girls!"

Can you guess Where we stopped? If it was White Castle, YOUR RIGHT!!!

Me and Regan found this one day while riding around. It's a bull dog.

I hope you enjoyed. Hopefully tomorrows post will be better. Tim is taking me out to lunch and a movie for Mothers Day so I'll blog about that tomorrow too.

Tweet tweet

I was talking to Casey a few weeks ago and she was acting all paranoid, looking around, jumpy. I finally get annoyed enough to ask her what her problem is and she asks me if I want to see something cool. My first thought is Oh God, am I going to have to tell on her to Mom? Nope, no piercing of any kind, or tattoo’s. This is what she finally shows me after shooing the kids away so they don’t see.

Aren’t they so pretty. Red and white eggs. And in Mom’s grill. Of all the places. Chad has a better grill so they have been using it instead of Mom’s so I guess the dumb bird that put them there decided to put it to use for them instead of just sitting there. I checked on it again yesterday. Here’s what I found.
Isn’t that just so cute. I counted 5 little heads, so they all made it, and they all look exactly the same. I didn’t expect yellow and black birds out of red and white eggs though. These shots aren’t very good because I was trying to hold the lid and take the pictures at the same time without accidentally dropping it and scaring them to death….. And me.
Now lets just hope the kids don’t find the poor things. I can totally see the boys throwing them in the air telling them to fly. (Conner too Amy, not just yours. Although they would probably show him how first.)
Sometimes I like to tell Tim I’m pregnant, just to see how he reacts. At random times too. While driving down the road, while he’s sitting on the toilet, when the kids are running circles around us and he’s about to shoot himself in the foot to get away. So far he hasn’t laughed when I do it. Hmmm, I wonder why. The most common thing for him to do is smack my leg as hard as possible and tell me “NO!” Then he thanks God that he is fixed. (like the dog he is) Lol.

Ants!!!!

I’ve already told Beth about this but it’s so weird that I thought I’d share it with you guys also. I don’t usually have weird dreams. At least I don’t think they’re weird. Alligators on a regular basis, sex a lot, T-Rex a couple of times, trying to get my family, I always have to make sure my kids are with someone who can run fast because I can’t carry them all. Sorry Casey, that is not you. And every once in a while I dream my teeth fall out. Yes, I am aware that it’s supposed to have something to do with pride. I honestly don’t consider myself a prideful person. I hate the teeth one. The fear and embarrassment of when I spit a tooth in my hand and feeling them move around in my mouth like they are going to fall out at any moment. Blah! The next dream, the one I had night before last, is weird. I dreamed that I saw an ant crawling on my shoulder so I squished it, but then there was another one, then another. So I looked closer and noticed an ant crawling out of the earring hole in my ear. I freaked! Started screaming and trying to get them out and looked closer in the mirror and that’s when I saw them crawling out of my eye! Can you say OMG!!!! I do not understand that one at all. So weird, right. Then some guy with a nice body heard me crying and totally gave me a hug. I don’t remember his face, don’t think I actually looked at his face. All I remember is that he was wearing a black shirt and he was buff and let me bawl all over his nice black shirt. I would like to think it was my hubby (only buff, love you Tim, you‘re perfect the way you are!!!) but honestly, it didn’t feel like it was him. I’m pretty sure I get weirdest dream award with that one. I mean, come on, how many of you dream that ants are crawling out of your earring holes.

Mom, feel free to skip this paragraph. That includes anyone else that gets embarrassed easily.

I got woke up this morning by Madyson coming down stairs to ask me where her sisters are and where her daddy is. (school and fishing) Then we heard Conner talking through the monitor and so she went to play with him while I got up and got dressed. Next thing I know she is running down the stairs screaming and crying, saying Conner had bit her. Sure enough there were 4 little teeth marks on her belly. I asked her why he bit her and she said, “cause he’s mean to me.” I go ask Conner why he bit May May and he points at her belly and says “Boobie.” Can you say just like his father. I can’t wear any kind of low cut shirt or Conner tries to look down it, just like his father. I’ve told Tim hundreds of times not to touch me there in front of the kids, but does he listen…….. Well, sometimes actually. But Conner sees more than he should, that’s for sure.

I’m going fishing with Tim later today so I should have some pretty river shots for tomorrow. As for today I’m going to pull out another old school picture I just came across. Amy, you’ll recognize this one. I think we posed turned this way because I had just had Conner and was trying to get my skinniest side. Lol. Didn’t work though. Or might have been showing off the boobies. Who knows.

Look at how chunky Conner used to be. So adorable.

Easter with the family

Here are my brothers and sisters. (minus 2) Left to right, Jessica, Aaron, Amy, Casey, Beth, Me, Josh. Ignore the dorkas in the front. She was doing something stupid in EVERY picture. EVERY ONE!!!! When I saw this I wanted to drive to Mom's and smack her in the head for being a 'tard.

My awsome family! I'm not going to name them all because I would probably get carpel tunnel trying. We are missing our brother, Neal, and a sister, Melissa. Neal lives in alabama and Melissa is wrapped up in her own world right now so she didn't come to church. We are also missing Neal's 2 kids. (also, Amy's husband, Chad, is hiding behind the guy in the black shirt and shades.)

The kids before the egg hunt starts.

Yes, I am the biggest dork on the planet and yes, my husband loves me anyway, and joins me in my dorkiness...... often.

I didn't get pics of it, but we went back to My parents house and had a great lunch of ham, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, CARMEL PIE!!!!, and cheese cake. I think I gained about 50 pounds yesterday. My kids barely ate because they were busy eating all the candy. Amy's boy, Micah, went through his basket and was picking the candy out of the plastic eggs and then tossing the egg. Then he was caught squishing the real ones and when his Dad asked him why he said, "I don't wike dem." Conner would not touch the yellow eggs, and would by pass any he thought were too shady looking. Needless to say he ended up with like 6 eggs.
And after the kids had there fun.....

The ones that still feel like they should be allowed to hunt with the little kids, got to hunt.

Jessica

Melissa

(Yes, that is Beth hunting in the background.)
Isn't my family the best ever!
