Welcome Home Boys

Tim got to "escort" our guys back home from their year in Iraq. Me and the kids met up with them at the Armory. I didn't expect to get emoitional about it since Tim wasn't with them this time but I have to say I got teary eyed when the buses pulled in and everyone started cheering. I knew a few people there but didn't want to bother any of them since they were with their families.

It was 100 degrees that day and Tim was in full uniform so we didn't get to stay long at all so I don't have very many pictures. I did get this one though....

I have a picture of here with this HUGE smile on her face but I likes this one better.

Happy 4th of July 2010!

We went to the local fireworks show that our city puts on every year. Let's just say that they should stop doing it. It has sucked for the past, like, 3 years. It's like they just throw some crap together and expect it to turn out awesome instead of putting some planning into it.

Here's a video of the Finale. Near the end you'll see a couple go crazy and shot off to the left and right of the bottom of the screen. I don't know who was in charge this year but they almost caught the whole arena on fire. Lol. It was fun to watch because we weren't some of the ones that were Right There.

Mt Airy, Nc

We went to Mt Airy, Nc for Campmeeting 2010 and here are some of my favorite shots. The lighting under the tent was Horrible so half of my shots came out blurry. Here is what I got that didn't come out totally screwed up or that I'm just too tired to put on here.

This is for the Fathers in my life. My loving husband and my wonderful Father.

This hot stud decapitating the pony is the love of my life and the Father to my children. He is my best friend and the one who makes me laugh when I dont want to and the one I like to try and make laugh at the most inappropriate times.

My Dad. He is awesome. I love him so much and I am so thankful to have him as my Dad. We always try to out-do each other on the gifts we give him. This year I totally won. I don't have a picture of it but I got him a topsy-turvy tomato planter with the plant already in it and growing tomato's. He loved it. :)

I did just notice that I didn't get a picture of Mom and Dad this year. And no family picture. We just couldn't get it together. Too busy or something. Crazy. I do wish I would have got one of Mom and Dad though. :(

Oh that hair! Poor Natalie. I did brush it, I promise. I had big plans of putting pretty braides in the girls hair and Conner ruined that when he wouldn't stop crying. I swear that kid cried for 30 minutes "I WANNA PLAY WII!!!!" I almost just shoved the Wii down his throat. Good Lord! It was a little rough this morning, needless to say.

Toothless!

Sorry for the bad quality of the picture. It was taken with my cell phone. Big news around here though. FIRST CHILD TO LOSE A TOOTH!!!! Natalie was the first one to grom up on me. How depressing. We had seen the 2 teeth coming in behind her 2 bottom front ones but for some reason they weren't pushing out the baby teeth. Then one day we checked and one was a little lose. Then she was eating chicken one night and it hurt her tooth to eat it so she decided to starve herself that night. Poor girl. Next night we were having spaghettie and she took a bite and blood went everywhere but the tooth was still holding on. Next morning she was crying while rying to eat her cereal saying she couldn't eat because it hurt too much again, so I did what every adult would do and called my Mommy. Mom explained about how to pull them and tod me to make sure I get it the first time because she would NOT let me try a second time. So I called Tim and told him he needed to handle this because I am the one who is always having dreams about loosing teeth and doing this would freak me out. Good husband that he is he came straight home and they went downstairs and did it where Regan couldn't see(or hear), since she has some loose teeth too, 5 minutes later they had a tooth in a napkin that has already been accepted and traded by the tooth fairy for a dollar(and put in her baby book). Now she likes to walk around telling strangers about her tooth that fell out. :) So sweet. Poor Regan is next and has no idea whats to come.

All Jumbled Up In One Big Post....

I know, I know! I haven't posted in Ages. I didn't have my computer cord, just got one about a week ago, so I didn't have my pictures or access to my pictures. I'm just going to put pictures on here and explain them as we go along. They are not in order. That would take so much time since blogspot has changed and they wont let you drag the pictures anymore. So here it goes....

The 3 youngest cousins (on Tims side) telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Conner asked for Cars. (Which he got! GOOD JOB SANTA!!!!)

That is the kids favorite part of the Aquarium, mine is the pictures I can get of the flowers and butterflies and of course of my kids. Tim's favorite part.... Leaving. And just because God loves me the orchids were in bloom! Orchids aer my favorite flower, also Lilacs. But they had so many varieties there. I took like 20 pictures of them. I'll try and post the pictures tomorrow.

Fun times! Even though we FROZE OUR BUTTS OFF and will NEVER be going back. All the cousins on Tim's side of the family.

A few weeks before Christmas ALL of my kids got sick. Yes, I did say ALL. It was horrible! I immediately took them to the Dr. ASAP. Madyson had Bronchitis, Regan and Natalie had an ear ache, Conner had strep throat.(I KNOW!!! STREP!!!) They all got on Antibiotics. They were still sick for 3 weeks though. For the most part it wasn't that bad. Oh! Did I mention I got Strep also in the middle of all this. Ha! Like 4 sick kids wasn't enough! Tim was such a Trooper. He took off from work to take care of the kids since I couldn't, and made sure I had plenty of rest and fluids. Love you Babe! It was the worst I have ever felt. We'll the kids were supposed to take Amoxicillin for 10 days. After 6 days we noticed a faint rash on Conner and Natalie. After 7 days we took them back to the Dr. He told us nothing. Said it was just part of the fever. So, Tim called his brother Dennis, who is a Dr in Louisiana, and told him about it. Come to find out the kids have a slight allergy to Amoxicillin that only shows up after they have been taking it for so long. (Madyson wasn't on that one, she had to take something else.) He recommended that we stop giving them the meds immediately since they were already over it anyway. This stupid Rash lasted for 7 days! 7 DAYS! We stopped giving Regan her medicine after 4 days so she wouldn't get the rash too so she was good to go. But the other 2 looked horrible and I was honestly worried they had gotten Roseola or something. Anyway, like a good Mom I got pictures!

Just look at her poor face! Good thing it didn't scar or she wouldn't be able to make me money when she gets older and gets a career in Modeling. ;)

Ok, this has taken me like 3 hours to do. Conner has been playing Wii(THANKS DENNIS!!!) almost the whole time. He is turning into a pro. Not sure if that is a good thing or not though. He cries to play it CONSTANTLY! Hopefully, I will get around to putting the pictures of the Orchids on here tomorrow but no promises.
