Welcome Home Boys
Tim got to "escort" our guys back home from their year in Iraq. Me and the kids met up with them at the Armory. I didn't expect to get emoitional about it since Tim wasn't with them this time but I have to say I got teary eyed when the buses pulled in and everyone started cheering. I knew a few people there but didn't want to bother any of them since they were with their families.

"Homework Shmomework!"
The twins just got home from their First Day Of School! They are so big.... (I would normally post a picture here but since our computer is wiped clean right now I can't.) They get in the truck so excited, talking a mile a minute, telling me everything, and I am so happy to see them. Then they hand me their folders. :( I am currently sitting on my couch up to my elbows in "Homework." Can you say OMG!!! There is so much stuff to fill out, and things they want me to have the girls do that my head hurts just looking at it, and I really feel like crying right now. Cut this, write this, color this. And it has to be done by Friday! If I new it was going to be this hard I would have just home schooled them. NOT! Sorry, stressed moment there. Do you think they would take it out on my kids if I Didn't do my homework? How long can I get away with just sending it back untouched? Lol. So tempting..... I honestly get so mad when I think about how much stuff they have already sent home for the girls to do. It makes me wonder what they are even doing at school since they are bringing everything home anyway's. I just want to yell "No! You can't make me!!!" Or, "I DON'T KNOW YOU, GET OFF MY PURSE!" (Sorry, sister joke.) (He, He, right Jesse and Beth. Lol.) (Amy, fill you in later.) Where was I? Oh, Devil work. So, I guess my evening is going to consist of filling out a pile of paper work and making the girls write their names 50 times. Oh, and scissors! They want me to let them cut up papers. Have they met my kids? Have they seen Regan's bangs, or Madyson's hair? (Pictures later!) So much fun!!! :(
Conner's new favorite commercial is the Dell Computer one that sings "Lollie Pop." He runs around saying "Yayie Yop!" through the whole commercial.

Bed Wetters
Every time the girls wake up they tell me about the dream they had, then proceed to tell me everything they dreamed about. They have dreamed that Papaw died and was in Heaven. That they had a pet Bunny, mouse, hamster, horse, pig. They love animals. And when they pee the bed they like to tell me why. I have heard “I was dreaming I was swimming in the pool.” Or “ I dreamed I was on the potty.” And “I dreamed I was under water.“ Things to do with water mostly.

Just look at how tan they are. They don’t burn, just go straight brown. I am so jealous. Not what this post is about though. Here they are in March (dressed up for Dr. Sueis Day that I was apparently wrong when I heard dress your kid like a dork so I had to hurry and fix their hair and pants so they wouldn't be embarrassed) and not very tan at all. See the difference. They get that from Tim’s side of the family. They have Indian in them. Which means sometimes I have a little Indian in me too. ;) Sorry, bad joke, but still too funny not to put in here.

I just heard Madyson tell her sisters that she had a dream her and Melissa saw a tornado and rode a carnival. I love that they are old enough to know that they are dreams and remember to tell me about it. They also come screaming down the stairs sometimes yelling that they had a bad dream. Those are not so fun nights.

Dr Visit/Bee sting
The twins had to go get physicals last week for school. We honestly didn't think they would need shots, so I told the girls, every time they asked, "no shots." The whole time in the waiting room, "No shots, right Mom." and I would say, "Nope no shots today." I asked the Nurse practitioner if they would need them and Natalie goes, "No, we don't." But, unfortunately, they needed 5. Now I usually limit it to 2 maybe 3 per visit because I don't like the fevers that come with it, or the doped up kid, or the inflamed shot spots. I have only had like 2 Dr. that haven't fought me over it, and actually worked with me on it. This one did not. She argued with me for 10 minutes about how my insurance wouldn't cover it if we split it up, and I would have to play for the visit and shot, bla, bla, bla. Finally, when I was about to lose my head and start screaming VERY loud curse words, she said that we could put off the Hep. A shot, which would have been a new one for the twins. All I had to do was sign a paper saying I denied it. I know I caved by letting them give the twins 4 shots, but honestly, I was just so sick of fighting and was ready to get out of there before I smacked a witch. I did make sure that they were all shots that they have had before, not new ones. I did get some cute pictures with my phone of the girls getting their heart listened to up on the little bed thing.

So, the shots. I thought I would be sneaky and have Natalie hide in the closet while Regan got the shots. Nope, she heard Every cry of pain and Regan yelling "NO, NO, NO, NO!" Apparently she tensed up so bad that she has bruises from where they had to push through the muscle. Natalie screamed bloody murder the whole time. Real tears. It was heart breaking. I told Tim I would rather take Conner instead of the twins. They were a little stiff for about 3 days, and Natalie's got a little inflamed. That's it.

Madyson stepped on a bee and for the last 30 minutes has screamed bloody murder. She went to bed, thinking if she took a nap when she woke up it wouldn't hurt any more, but cried so much that Conner went in there to check on her and she ended up screaming at him to "get off her bed and stop trying to touch her bee sting." I would take a picture but I just got her quiet and don't want to get the water works going again. Oh, who am I kidding.....
Her "I'm in pain" face.
Notice the pain on her face. Lol
Here is her "scared/cry baby" face. Notice the stick by her foot. Conner thought hitting the bee sting with a stick would help.
Conner snuck over to see the chickens on my "Farm." Gotta love Facebook.

BUBBLES!!!!
I put that play list at the bottom of the page just to try it out but now I love playing it while writing my new blog. Since I always write it first in Microsoft Word so I’ll have a list of all my post’s it works out good. As you can probably tell by the play list I am a very mellow person. I’ve been told that for years. It’s a good thing too since Tim is like a tight spring ready to blow at any time. I have many other songs I absolutely love but since my Mother will be reading this and seeing the play list I decided to leave them out. Just mellow here. If you want my other favs then go check out my Myspace page. I do have to say the Joplin/4 non blondes ones are my favorite to sing to. I like to belt it out. Yup, that’s me. The one who can’t carry a tune but still tries. I know I’m sucking big time when the girls start holding their ears screaming “I CAN’T HEAR!!!” Or, “Is that blood? I didn’t know my ears could bleed.” It still doesn't stop me though. Nobody puts baby in a corner! In my case, no one stuffs socks in my mouth! (and gets away with it.)
I told you we went to my in-laws house Thurs. At least I think it was Thurs. My days just kind of run together. The kids had a blast. Nanna had bubbles, which I refuse to buy because they keep dumping them out, so they played with them. I got some great shots though. It was fun trying to get the shots because my batteries were dead so I would have to turn my camera off for a minute then turn it back on and snap a few real quick. Here’s what I got.
Yes, as you can probably guess, Madyson dressed herself again that day. I think that thing glowed in the dark too.

This is Tims' mom. Beverly, Bev, or Nanna.

Conner blew so hard I thought he was going to pass out. We did have to change a poopie diaper in the middle of this

They also tried to eat the bubbles. Conner got some in his eye and screamed for 5 minutes. I wanted to scream too.

My twins! Aren’t they so pretty/dirty.
I love this next shot because it shows a little bit of the chaos going on. Conner was going after a bubble when Regan saw and tried to eat it. Con backed off just in time. Oh, look, Tim is helping! Now I have proof. (J/K babe. I love you. Please don't hurt me.)
Whew! I just got a whiff of something rank. Conner just walked past. Gotta go!
This shot was total an accident but I love it. It doesn’t really matter that you can’t see the other ones face since they look the same. Lol.

Babies/boobies
Amy has asked me if I ever worry that maybe I switched the twins by accident when they were babies and have been calling them by the wrong name ever since. YES AMY!!! All the time. What if Regan is really Natalie and Natalie is really Regan. I don’t remember a lot that first year so it is totally possible. Not to mention when they were in diapers only, or naked straight from the bath, they were SOOOO hard to tell apart. How much would that suck! The first months were hell on Earth so there’s no telling what happened back then. Have I mentioned how much it sucked right after they were born. They were so adorable though. Let me tell ya. Even when they were throwing up on us, and leaking poop all over us, and crying non stop. They were just the cutest little things. I figured since it’s been 5 ½ years(OMG I’m going to cry) then we could just take a walk down memory lane together.

Natalie-right, Regan-left. And the only reason I know this is because of the Bows. God Bless the women in the nursery. This is how Natalie got stuck with pink and Regan with every other color.

See how tiny they were! Linn, I would like to see pics of your boys at this age too. And my cute Timmy Poo is sooooo young here. 22 I think. No 21, almost 22. I’m assuming this is Natalie because I would strategically place their “colors” in the picture so I would know which one I was looking at years later. And Look, I think it worked.

I love this pic. Madyson, Natalie and Regan. They had just gotten done swimming and Regan crashed right after this picture. These pictures were scanned onto the computer so that’s why they look weird.

Fat little Regan. And I only know this because my computer says so.

Here they are at like 3, maybe 4 months old. All you have to do is find the one with the fatter face and rounder head and that is Regan. Guess which one it is? Lol.
I'm sitting here remembering how hard it was and watching “Jon and Kate plus 8” thanking God I don’t have that many.

Here I am at somewhere between 4 to 6 months pregnant. See how happy I look. 20 and the size of a cow. That belly is so pretty though. Now it’s covered in nothing but stretch marks. Yes, I blame the twins for my gross body now. And Tim. He started it all.
