Snowy Mountains....
Soon after we had all that snow a couple of weeks ago this was what I saw every day when I took Madyson to school. Isn't that the Best view!

Local Flooding....
We pulled up at Madyson's school a little early today and caught the kids doing the fire drill. How cute is it that they make them hold on to the person's shirt in front of them. Mady got so excited when she saw us watching. Started waving and jumping, screwed up the line. Oops.

I still think she goes too much to school. I want them to cut back on days but I have to get around to asking and I haven't done that yet because I usually try to get in and out of that place ASAP. My record is 123 seconds. If it wasn't for the signing in thing it would be quicker.

So, we've had a little rain recently. About 5 inches worth. (Apparently that is a lot, doesn't sound like it to me but hey, who am I to argue.) Anyway, Conner decided to take advantage of all the water laying around just for him.

Not sure what he was doing here. Maybe drinking the nasty rain water, or just trying to make sure the front of him was just as wet as the back.
I always pull out the switches for going in the road. The whole danger thing. Wanna get the point across. Doesn't seem to be working though. Here he is running from me. He was so cute that I just had to get some pictures before I had to be mean.

Trash and sunrise's
So I decided to take a picture of all the crap I deal with on a DAILY basis from the twins teacher.

Do you see all that paperwork! Honestly, all but like 3 pages are trash. I asked Beth if I was allowed to send a note to the teachers to ask that they NOT send stuff home unless I need to sign it or it's some kind of school update. But she said it would be considered rude. I still might do it though. I didn't sign Natalie's school agenda book 2 days in a row and her teacher sent home a sticker on her shirt saying "please sign and return." And inside the book she circled where she wanted me to sign. OMG!!! Seriously! I almost want to save all these papers for about a week then take them back in and say "Here ya go! Just thought you would like to find something else to do with them since all they are doing at my house is FILLING MY TRASH CAN!"
And the best thing about getting up early.....

Here is a picture of Madyson one morning on the way to school. She wasn't too happy about it as you can see.
And the best thing about getting up early.....
This one I took this morning. (Yes, I was driving while taking this! That is why it is not straight. But I love it anyways.) Madyson couldn't wait to tell her teacher about the birds she saw flying. This will also double as my Favorite picture of the day sinceI still don't havae my pictures back because Tim is still talking about sending my computer to that guy. These were on my camera memory card. Love that camera!!!

Money Issues.... Again
I'm a little srtressed right now. Between bills, food and gas we were left with like $50 in the bank. Then something went through that I didn't know was going through and now, for the first time in forever we are in the negative. Do you have any idea how much that sucks? Let me tell ya. A LOT! I also received the kids school supply lists and on top of all the crap you have to buy they also want you to pay $30 for other things the class needs, $5 for headphones, $2 for a special notebook Regan's teacher thinks she needs. I have 2 kids starting Kindergarten so that means $60 just to get started. OMG! I am a little freaked right now. Tim keeps asking me what we are going to do and I honestly think I might slap him if he asks again. I guess I need to try and figure out what to do now then. Sometimes it's just not worth it to get out of bed some mornings.
Regan started Kindergarten this morning and Madyson went her 2nd day. I took some pictures to be posted on here tomorrow, hopefully.

Thanks for letting me vent. I feel a little better now.
These are my favorite pictures because they make me smile even when I'm stressed.Wednesday, August 5, 2009
First day of Pre-K
Madyson is 4 years old. 5 on Feb. 1st. She started school today. Pre-K. It's so sad. She is the first one to start school this year. Regan goes tomorrow, Natalie Friday, then they start up for good on Wed. the 12th. I was so reluctant to see her go. More so than the twins. Her and Conner are Bff. I don't know how he's going to do when the twins go too, he's playing with them now. I got her up at 10 after 7 and she didn't fight me or anything. Got dressed, let me brush her hair, put her shoes on.... NOTHING!!! Anyone who know Mady knows that she always whines when she does anything. Says she's scared when you tell her she needs to do something. But this morning she didn't say much of anything, was a little silly but otherwise pretty quiet. I called Beth this morning on the way to the school and let her talk to May-May. She asked questions and got answers and even made her smile everytime she called her a "Big Girl."
Look at those big eyes. I wonder where she gets those from?
She only asked me about one thing that she wanted to do at school today. Painting. She loves painting. So I asked her teacher and she said "Yes, there will be painting." Needless to say she got very excited then. The classroom door does not open till 7:30, and you can't go in till it's open, and we were there 5 minutes early waiting.

One of her Teachers. Mrs Regina. I love this teacher! She is so friendly. I just love her. The onther one is ok. These are the same ones that the twins had last year so I trust them completely. And the twins did so good with them.

Bed Wetters
Every time the girls wake up they tell me about the dream they had, then proceed to tell me everything they dreamed about. They have dreamed that Papaw died and was in Heaven. That they had a pet Bunny, mouse, hamster, horse, pig. They love animals. And when they pee the bed they like to tell me why. I have heard “I was dreaming I was swimming in the pool.” Or “ I dreamed I was on the potty.” And “I dreamed I was under water.“ Things to do with water mostly.

Just look at how tan they are. They don’t burn, just go straight brown. I am so jealous. Not what this post is about though. Here they are in March (dressed up for Dr. Sueis Day that I was apparently wrong when I heard dress your kid like a dork so I had to hurry and fix their hair and pants so they wouldn't be embarrassed) and not very tan at all. See the difference. They get that from Tim’s side of the family. They have Indian in them. Which means sometimes I have a little Indian in me too. ;) Sorry, bad joke, but still too funny not to put in here.

I just heard Madyson tell her sisters that she had a dream her and Melissa saw a tornado and rode a carnival. I love that they are old enough to know that they are dreams and remember to tell me about it. They also come screaming down the stairs sometimes yelling that they had a bad dream. Those are not so fun nights.

Fireworks!!!
As Amy recently posted, Chad’s B-day was Monday but we celebrated Sunday. He cracks me up because he hates the attention but if we don’t acknowledge it he gets his feelings hurt. (yes, Amy, you know he totally would.) So I was one of those people that would burst out in song every time he walked in the room, past a window, stood within yelling distance. Tim, me and the kids went to Mom’s Monday to see her and Dad before they left town again and Chad kept asking me why we were there. I honestly couldn’t figure out what the heck he was talking about except that I was still singing to him.
Chad: “Why are you here!”
Me: “What are you talking about? Oh, Happy Birthday to you…”
Chad: “WHY ARE YOU HERE?”
Me: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU….”
Finally he asked me “Are you here for a birthday thing?”
I had no clue what the boy was talking about. I said, “Didn’t we do that yesterday?”
Then it hit me. HE THINKS WE ARE HAVING A SURPRISE SOMETHING!!!! Poor little Chad. He really thought we were there for some kind of surprise party or get together. Like I said before, Poor Chad. Me and Mom laughed hard over that one, then called Amy and laughed with her too. No ,we did not have anything planned for Chad but Mom felt bad so we bought him some fireworks and set them off last night… to the tune of “Happy Birthday.” Just kidding. Lol. Since it was dark and I hate using my flash so here is what I got. Not the best, but definitly fun.

The Peanut gallery.

Luckily we didn’t catch anything of fire this time. It has happened. Last year Dad got so nervous that he ran and moved his Truck to the bottom of the driveway, just in case. One year we actually shot a friend and a kid. Had to drop the kid in the pool to put her skirt out. It was HORRIBLE! Now we sit Farther back, and let Josh H. be in charge since he is pretty much the safest one out there. Mom laughs at the fact that all her boys are pyro’s but they get it from her. She is the one who always contributes the most money, screams the loudest, eggs on shooting at Josh F. So far the only kids that don’t like them very much is Ben and Madyson. The two whinny pants.

And My Favorite shot of the night. Regan and her Sparkler.

Computer Crap!!!!
Well, I downloaded extra virus protection and now my computer won't let me view my blog. Also, I am taking Madyson to the Dr. today so I have Crap to deal with. No long post, or pitures. Sorry. Be back after I can get this thing worked out.

Bossy Beth
I have already received an email from my very bossy older sister informing me that I have not posted a new blog today. Well Beth, you see, I have this other job that is kind of priority in my life, at least for the next 17 years. It’s called "BEING A MOM!!!" You should try it some day. Endless poopie messes, constant crying and screaming, never ending fights, but best of all, hugs, hugs, hugs. Don’t forget the kisses galore, and my favorite, “I wub you Mommy.” As a matter of fact, since starting this post I have had to get 2 drinks, break up one fight, and wipe one poopie butt, get the twins from school, go to Home Depot with all 4 kids, by myself. Oh the Lovely world of Motherhood. If only you could send them back to your womb.
The busy bees. I love how Conner’s face is totally stuffed with food because he thinks if he eats his fast enough then he can get some of Madyson’s too.
You would freak out too.

Yesterday Natalie came screaming and crying into the house, freaking out and jumping all around because a caterpillar had fallen out of a tree and landed on her shoulder. Lol. I tried explaining that it wouldn’t hurt her but I guess Regan screaming over top of me, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!” didn’t help to calm her. But I guess if you look over your shoulder and see this….
You would freak out too.
This morning Regan wouldn’t go to the bathroom because there was a Gallie Napper (could NOT figure out how to spell that) flying around. She swore up and down that, “WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!” I can’t help but laugh every time she announces that. I tried explaining that the Gallie Napper doesn’t bite, but would she listen to me? NO! Gotta love a drama queen.
They are creepy looking creatures though. I should probably kill them but it cracks me up when the kids freak out over a bug that I know will not hurt them.
There Beth! Are you happy now? A post a day, is that what you want? Just work me to the bone why don't ya!
