We are headed to the river today. Tim is already telling me I have to get in the water. I just love being bossed, don't you. I'm taking a good book and have plans to lay out and get some sun on my white legs. I really want to see how the girls do in water over their head. Conner will love the sand. Well, gotta get ready. SEE YA!!!
Favorite part of summer. SANDALS!!!

Conner/Nemo
I’ve told you in previous posts how Conner doesn’t like to get splashed. Hated getting the water on his face. Well, Clifton was able to get Conner interested in it about a week ago. Since then Conner cries to get in, but he doesn’t like to wear floaties or his life jacket. Screams till you take them off. So, pretty much, an adult has to hold him the whole time he is in the pool. He has so much fun you can’t help but laugh along with him.
Look at those little legs just kicking away. He is trying so hard. Cliff swears that if he let him go he would just take off, but my heart stops beating at just the thought.

Eight Legged Freaks
I was sitting on the porch the other day, minding my own business, when something falls right beside me. It looks like a bee that just fell or something, but upon closer inspection I see THIS!
Favorite shot.
The spider is attacking the bee! I freaked out a little because I hate spiders, then did the smart thing and grabbed my camera. I only got 1 picture because I had to get close to get this one and like I said, I Hate Spiders. If you click on the picture you can see the spider with all his legs holding on for dear life. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the bee though. I was glad when it finally got away and flew off, albeit a little drunk looking. Then I squished the spider. MY KIDS PLAY ON THAT PORCH!!!! Of course I'm going to squish it.
Favorite shot.

Happy Birthday Conner and Ethan
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!!! We had a party for Ethan and Conner Saturday. Joint, hoping to get off cheap. We had I at the school down the road because they have a pretty neat playground. Good Idea. Have I mentioned it was 90 degrees outside Saturday? No? Well, it was 90 degrees Saturday and we had the party at 5 pm. Bad Idea. We should have waited till 7, but even at 7 it was still really, really hot. We just partied while moving as little as possible.
Now, I was trying to get a picture of my Hot hubby when his fat head brother jumped in there. (yes Kevin, I mean you.) I did warn him that this was going on my blog. It kind of takes the heat out of the threat when you have to explain what a blog is.
There he is!!!! Like I said. HOT! No I'm serious. Look at the sweat beading on his head.
I walked over to get a picture of Amy and Michelle and they both stopped mid sentence and posed like this. Can you say Goobers. (Hi Michelle!!)
Who’s the genius who thought bubbles would be awesome for the kids? ME!!! I did!! I did! They loved the bubbles. Everyone tried them at some point throughout the party.
I told the Mexican to smile and he did this. I swear, if he is going to follow us around, eating our food, then he better listen when I tell him to smile.

Call of Duty
Ok, I know I haven't been posting very much but I do have a reason. I AM ADDICTED TO CALL OF DUTY!!!! I can't help it. All I want to do lately is sit here and play. Usually I give myself a mental list of thing I have to do first before I can play so that at least I get something done. I haven't even been taking a lot of pictures lately because I can't seem to stop playing. I get up in the morning and the first thing I do is grab the remote, (after handing out pop tarts of course) and usually the last thing I do is fight Tim for the controller at night. If any of you play my name is Lickinchiken25. Tim picked it out and I love it. Something to do with an Army saying that they changed around. Bla. Bla. Bla. Who cares.
I have lost my camera. (Don't tell Tim) I can't find it anywhere. I remember carrying it in the house yesterday but it's not hanging where I always put it. Honestly I probably left it at Moms. Anyway, the point of that is I have pictures from the Boys party Saturday and I was going to post about that today but I don't have my camera to get those pictures off of it so you're just going to have to wait till tomorrow. Sorry. Forgetting stuff comes with the Mom thing. I'm happy most days to just remember to brush my teeth and put on deodorant. So, I will do my best to find my camera and blog about the party. Cross your fingers......

Hair Cuts
Is it bad that I like to watch Jon and Kate plus 8 and every time Jon says “I haven’t got to do something for myself in a long time.” I like to yell as loud as I can, “THAT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE A FATHER, YOU LOW LIFE DOG!” or “DIDN’T YOU JUST SCREW THE KIDS TEACHER!!! I COUNT THAT AS YOUR OWN THING.” Throw in a few more choice words and you pretty much get the gist of what I really said. The really funny thing is that the kids, Conner included, love this show. I would go more into all that but I get carried away and don’t say nice stuff so I’m just going to move on now.
Casey straightened the girls hair Monday. It turned out so pretty.
Well…. At least the hair looks good. WOW! Look at that face. It's a little weird, right. The nose area.
OMG! There it is again. GOD HATES ME! My kids will forever make weird faces when I tell them to smile
I think I’m getting payed back for making fun of Hannah Montana/Miley Cirus’s face when she smiles. That's it. I should have just kept my mouth shut. Miley scary faces, here we come.
Seriously! What is with these weird faces. Well, at least Regan looks somewhat normal when she smiles.
My favorite shot is from Beth's house. Love her flowers!

Fireworks!!!
As Amy recently posted, Chad’s B-day was Monday but we celebrated Sunday. He cracks me up because he hates the attention but if we don’t acknowledge it he gets his feelings hurt. (yes, Amy, you know he totally would.) So I was one of those people that would burst out in song every time he walked in the room, past a window, stood within yelling distance. Tim, me and the kids went to Mom’s Monday to see her and Dad before they left town again and Chad kept asking me why we were there. I honestly couldn’t figure out what the heck he was talking about except that I was still singing to him.
Chad: “Why are you here!”
Me: “What are you talking about? Oh, Happy Birthday to you…”
Chad: “WHY ARE YOU HERE?”
Me: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU….”
Finally he asked me “Are you here for a birthday thing?”
I had no clue what the boy was talking about. I said, “Didn’t we do that yesterday?”
Then it hit me. HE THINKS WE ARE HAVING A SURPRISE SOMETHING!!!! Poor little Chad. He really thought we were there for some kind of surprise party or get together. Like I said before, Poor Chad. Me and Mom laughed hard over that one, then called Amy and laughed with her too. No ,we did not have anything planned for Chad but Mom felt bad so we bought him some fireworks and set them off last night… to the tune of “Happy Birthday.” Just kidding. Lol. Since it was dark and I hate using my flash so here is what I got. Not the best, but definitly fun.
The Peanut gallery.
Luckily we didn’t catch anything of fire this time. It has happened. Last year Dad got so nervous that he ran and moved his Truck to the bottom of the driveway, just in case. One year we actually shot a friend and a kid. Had to drop the kid in the pool to put her skirt out. It was HORRIBLE! Now we sit Farther back, and let Josh H. be in charge since he is pretty much the safest one out there. Mom laughs at the fact that all her boys are pyro’s but they get it from her. She is the one who always contributes the most money, screams the loudest, eggs on shooting at Josh F. So far the only kids that don’t like them very much is Ben and Madyson. The two whinny pants.
And My Favorite shot of the night. Regan and her Sparkler.

Blast from the past....
I love going through my old pictures. It's so neat to see how much the kids have grown. Not to mention all the pictures I have of my family that are just so freaking hilarious. I'm going to let the pictures do the talking on this one. Most of these were taken at the twins B-day party. It is October 22 so we always have a costume party.
